Legon final year student drowns

Winneba (C/R), April 22, GNA – The body of Evans Agyabeng Anning, Final Year Student of University of Ghana, Legon from Agona Swedru in the Central Region, who got drowned whiles swimming with friends at Winneba Royal Beach on Easter Monday has been recovered.

According to the Winneba Police, the Chief Fisherman and his men who were deployed to search for the body toiled throughout the day on the sea searching for the body and later found the corpse laying off-show far away from the place he got drowned on Tuesday night around 1930 hours.

The body have been deposited at the Winneba Government Mortuary, whiles investigations continue on.
