WASSCE takes off smoothly in Volta Region

Ho, April 21, GNA – Mr Justice Ansah-Asare, the Volta Regional Controller of Examinations, on Friday described the on-going West Africa Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) in the region as peaceful and without any hitches.

He said the Council had so far not recorded any form of malpractices neither had any student complained of any irregularities. Mr Ansah-Asare, who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview, said that headmasters of the various schools were cooperating excellently to enforce the adherence of regulations by the students. He expressed happiness about the early turn up of Police escorts and exam supervisors.

Mr Ansah-Asare urged students to cooperate with their supervisors, obey instructions, go by regulations and comport themselves to sail through the exams peacefully. 21 April 06
