Rainstorm hits Koforidua Senior Secondary School

Koforidua, March 27, GNA – A rainstorm that hit Koforidua on Sunday afternoon ripped off the roof of a newly constructed six unit storey building of Koforidua Senior Secondary School. The building is being used as classrooms and a dormitory, but there was no casualty.

Briefing the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mrs Gladys Antwi, the House Mistress said the falling roof affected the girls’ dormitory therefore; they had to relocate for the night.

Mrs Matilda Appiah, the Headmistress said officials of the Electricity Company of Ghana had been informed to disconnect electricity to the affected building to ensure safety.
