Two Ghanaian Women’s Football Players Gone Missing

ACCRA, Ghana (PANA) – Two players of Ghana’s women’s football team, the Black Queens, missed when the team was due to leave for home Sunday after their failure to qualify for the next round of the World Cup finals in the US.

They are Berikisu Tetteh-Quao and Genevine Clottey.

The queens, making their debut in the Third FIFA Women’s World Cup, bowed out of the tournament with only one point from three matches. They played in group D with Australia, Sweden and China.

They drew 1-1 with Australia in their opening match, lost 0-7 to China and 0- 2 to Sweden.
