Ghanaian based in US is New Kyidomhene for Akwatia

Akwatia, Jan 22, GNA – Mr Harry Nyarko Dadson who is based in the US has been installed Kyidomhene of Akwatia. Bafour Kofi Nyarko, a senior staff of the Dell Computers of America, succeeded his uncle, Bafour Ampofo Darkwa, who died four months ago.

Swearing the oath of allegiance to Osabarima Kofi Boateng III, the Akwatiahene, Bafour Nyarko promised to work with dedication and to co-operate with the chiefs and the people to help uplift the socio-economic life of Akwatia.

Osabarima Boateng said 2006 would be a year of action in which all human and economic resources would be mobilised to accelerate the development of the town.

Bafour Nyarko, who has worked in the US for 10 years, told newsmen that he would use his experiences in America to provide more amenities to improve the quality of life of the people.
