‘Prophet’ dies at the age of 115

Gomoa-Akotsi (C/R), Jan 22, GNA – The Chief Pastor and the longest serving religious minister of the United Faith Tabernacle Church (UFTC), Prophet Emmanuel Kweku Botwe, is reported dead at Gomoa-Akotsi Junction, near Awutu-Beraku.

He died at the age of 115 years and left behind eight children including the Headmaster of Kasoa District Council Junior Secondary School, Mr Augustine M. Botwe, and several grandchildren.

A spokesperson for the church told journalists that Prophet Botwe was ordained pastor of UFTC, popularly called “Kwame Nkansah” church, in 1950 at the age of 50 years.
