Congolese Community donates to Osu Children’s Home

Accra, Jan. 19, GNA – Alliance Congolese du Ghana, an association of Congolese students resident in Ghana on Wednesday presented food items, shoes, learning materials and clothing worth 25 million cedis to inmates of the Osu Children’s Home in Accra.

Mr Jean Pierre Diassouka, President of the association presenting the items said it was to assist the inmates and pledged more support in future.

Mrs Millicent Nyarko, Assistant Supervisor of the Home who received the items thanked the association for the kind gesture. She called on other associations, organizations and corporate bodies to assist the Home. 19 Jan. 06
