Northern Regional Manager of GNA burgled

Tamale, Jan. 11, GNA – Thieves on Tuesday morning broke into the residence of Mr Paul Osei-Tutu, Northern Regional Manager of the Ghana News Agency and made away with personal belongings worth several millions of cedis.

The stolen items included two laptop computers, being repaired by his son, Mr Felix Osei-Tutu a computer engineer, two mobile phones, a disc video deck (DVD), a video cassette deck (VCD), video deck (VHS), Compact Discs (CD) and a travelling bag. The burglary took place during the absence of the Regional Manager who attended the funeral of a staff of the Agency in Kumasi at the weekend.

Briefing the GNA, Mr. Felix Osei-Tutu, said he left the house on Tuesday morning to the office and around 1100 hours, was sent by his programme manager to purchase fuel at a filing station and on his way met a friend who informed him of the burglary. He therefore, rushed home and found that thieves had broken into the house and made away with the items and reported the incident to the police who are investigating.
