CPP member calls for mass mobilisation

Accra, Jan. 10, GNA – A member of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) in the Ashanti Region, Mr Kwame Boateng on Tuesday called for mass mobilisation to boost the Party.

Mr Boateng, who was the CPP Parliamentary Candidate for Nhyiaeso Constituency in Kumasi, said in a statement that he was calling for the mass mobilization and registration for his version of Ghana Young Pioneers and Workers Brigade formed by the First President of Ghana, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah.

Mr Boateng, alias Kwame Mayor, asked the youth in Nhyiaeso Constituency of ever ethnic group, sex or colour, to be the first to register for the Ghana Young Pioneers and Workers Brigade at the Constituency office.

He also asked Ghanaians, especially the youth in Ghana of every ethnic group, sex or colour, to be allowed to register for the organizations.

Mr Boateng appealed to the leadership of the CPP to allow CPP offices to be used for the registration exercise since the CPP Founder, Osagyefo Dr Nkrumah, originally formed the organizations.
