2006 will be a better year for Ghanaians – NPP

Accra, Jan. 3, GNA – Mr Yaw Amoabeng, Eastern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in a New Year message to Ghanaians on Tuesday wished Ghanaians the best in socio-economic development and asked party activists to rally behind the executive for effective and efficient organisation of the Party.

In the message copied to the Ghana News Agency, Mr Amoabeng said, “the festive season should be a time for reflection, reassessment and renewal of the process of building a better future.”

He said 2006 held a lot of promises for Ghana, therefore, “We should all close our ranks and unite against issues that divided the nation and eradicate poverty, diseases and under-development.”

Mr Amoabeng said the party had initiated series of activities and programs to rejuvenate the rank and file and prepare them to win more seats in the region, adding,” This will form the basis of the NPP’s march towards succeeding itself in 2008.
