Atwima-Mponua assembly donates sewing machines to association

Nyinahin (Ash), Dec 12, GNA – The Atwima-Mponua District Assembly has donated 10 sewing machines to the Nyinahin zone of the Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association at Nyinahin. The donation followed the association’s request to the assembly to assist in training of 10 school dropouts free of charge.

Mr Wilberforce Owusu-Ansah, the District Chief Executive who performed the ceremony, reiterated the assembly’s preparedness to assist organised groups to enhance their work. He appealed to the people to pay their taxes promptly to enable the assembly to execute more development projects. Mr Collins Opoku Boah, secretary to the association, expressed gratitude to the assembly.
