Farmers’ Day is public holiday

Accra, Nov. 28, GNA – The Ministry of the Interior announced on Monday that Farmers’ Day, December 2 is a Statutory Public Holiday. A statement signed by Dr Kwame Addo-Kufuor, Minister of Defence and Acting Minister of the Interior; said the day should be observed as such throughout the country.

Outstanding farmers would be honoured at a durbar at Navrongo in the Upper East Region on December 2.
