Korle-Bu suspends admissions

Accra, Nov. 14, GNA – The Management of Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital on Monday announced that the Hospital had suspended admission of new patients to the Surgical/Medical Emergency unit for the next 24 hours to 28 hours.

A statement signed by Mustapha Salifu, Public Relations Officer, said it was to allow the Unit to decongest, as it had lately been full to an extent that it had become impossible to admit new patients. “Patients, who require emergency care are, therefore, advised to seek medical attention at other hospitals and clinics within the Metropolis.”
