Ashanti Regional CPP Women’s Organizer dead

Kumasi, Nov.4, GNA – Mrs Emelia Folson, Ashanti Regional Women’s Organiser of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), died on the spot when the vehicle on which she was traveling from Kumasi to Cape Coast was involved in an accident at Atobiase in the Adansi South district on Saturday, October 22.

A statement from the Ashanti Regional Secretariat of the CPP in Kumasi said the final funeral rites of Mrs Folson, 66, would be held at her residence at North Suntreso in Kumasi on Saturday, November 12. It described Mrs Folson as a bold and intelligent woman with much experience who handled affairs of the party and her family with patience and dedication.

The statement said her exemplary leadership qualities included collaborating with other political parties to achieve unity and progress for development.
