Best Teacher Award ceremony postponed

Accra, Nov. 1, GNA – This year’s National Best Teacher Award ceremony would now take place on Saturday, November 5 at the St. Augustine’s College Sports Field, Cape Coast.

A statement issued in Accra on Tuesday by Reverend H. Awortwe, National Coordinator, Best Teacher Award Scheme, said award winners should report for orientation at the Regional Education Office, Cape Coast, by 1700 hours on Wednesday, November 2.

The ceremony was initially scheduled for Friday, November 4. No reason was given for the change of date.

This year’s ceremony marks the 10th anniversary and it is the 11th edition.

It said invited guests who had requested for accommodation for one night should report on November 4. All other guests attending the function should report at the venue and be seated by 0900 hours on Saturday, November 5. “This announcement supersedes all other previous announcements,” it said.
