Greater Accra NPP donates to funeral of late Amugi

Accra, Oct. 13, GNA – The leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Greater Accra Region on Thursday presented 26 million cedis to the Ga Traditional Council for preparation towards the funeral of the late Boni Nii Amugi II.

Presenting the money, Sheikh Ibrahim Cudjoe Quaye, Greater Accra Regional Minister, called for unity, love and understanding among themselves to organize a befitting funeral for the late king. The party’s leadership also signed the book of condolence.

Nii Adotey Obour III, Acting President of the Ga Traditional Council who received the money urged the Accra Metropolitan Assembly to decongest the streets of Accra for easy flow of traffic. Meanwhile, the book of condolence for the late Ga Mantse would be closed on Monday, October 17, 2005.
