Police say wounded robbers may seek medical attention

Accra, Oct. 12, GNA – Three armed robbers who sustained gunshot wounds when they attacked a resident at Adjirigano, near Legon, in the early hours of Wednesday are on the run and would be seeking medical attention, should be reported to the nearest police station. A statement signed by Mr David Eklu, Director of Police Public Affairs Directorate, said the police suspected that the robbers would be seeking medical attention either at a hospital, clinic or with a traditional herbal practitioner.

“The police is therefore alerting the public to be on the lookout for anybody with gunshot wounds and report to the nearest police station or call police emergency line 021-773906 or 191 for Areeba users.
