CPP youth calls on Ghanaians to be vigilant

Kumasi, Oct.06, GNA – The Ashanti Regional Youth League of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP) has called on Ghanaians to be vigilant and take intelligent decisions on national issues to promote good leadership and governance in the country. It said Ghanaians should also be critical on the Government and other political groups to ensure that decisions and policies were taken in the best and broader interest of the people.

The call was made in a release issued and signed by Mr Akwasi Bosompem Boateng, Ashanti Regional Youth Secretary after a meeting in Kumasi. The Youth regretted that, majority of Ghanaians, especially women and the youth had not shown serious concern about governance in the country. They therefore, called on the women and the youth to be educated to appreciate and understand political issues to give meaning to democratic rule in the country. They urged women and the youth to be vigilant, self- conscious and exercise self-control in selecting their representatives during elections.
