Accra, Oct. 5, GNA – Students of the Royal College of Defence Studies in the United Kingdom would conduct a study tour of Ghana from October 8 to October 13.

The study tour, which forms part of their geopolitical studies of some African countries, would see them visiting parts of the country and interacting with selected personalities and institutions. A statement signed by Lieutenant Colonel Y. Dzotefe-Mensah of Armed Forces Public Relations Directorate, said the objectives of the tour include examining the quality of governance in Sub-Saharan Africa and identifying the benefits and challenges of regional co-operation in Sub-Saharan Africa.

They would also assess how the developed world could assist Africa with debt relief and developmental aid, promote security and stability and ensure sustainable prosperity in Africa. Rear Admiral Roger Lockwood, a member of the Directing Staff of the College, would lead the team.
