Last batch of Ghanaian troop arrives from Sierra Leone

Accra, Sept. 30 GNA – The last batch of Ghanaian troops who were on peace mission under the United Nation Assistance Mission in Sierra Leone returned home on Friday.

Ghanbatt 11, made up of 22 Officers and 84 men had been in Sierra Leone for seven months under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel Omane Agyekum.

Brigadier General Emmanuel Quist, Director General of Plans and Development of the Ghana Armed Forces met them on arrival.
