Nkoranza kids spend their first day at school

Nkoranza, Sept 16, GNA – Mr James Kwabena Appiah-Awuah, the Nkoranza District Chief Executive and Mr Kwabena Agyemang-Badu, Nkoranza District Director of Education on Tuesday visited primary schools in Nkoranza and Akuma Domase near Nkoranza and interacted with and urged class one pupils to stay happily in school.

The schools they visited as part of the ”My First Day at School Programme” were Roman Catholic Primary, Anglican Primary, Seventh Day Adventist Primary, St. Barnabas Anglican Primary and Islamic Primary all at Nkoranza.

Other schools they went were Effa Primary School, Sarpomaa Presbyterian Primary School, Saint Theresa’s Primary and Akumsa Domase Methodist Primary “A” and “B” Schools.

Mr Appiah-Awuah advised the pupils to be punctual and regular at school and to pay attention to whatever their teachers would teach them. The DCE distributed caps, biscuits and toffees to the pupils.
