Benyiwa-Doe’s Life Under Serious Threat

An unidentified assailant pounced on Mrs Ama Benyiwa-Doe former Deputy Minister for Manpower and Employment yesterday morning, 12th September, 2005 outside the Adom fm station in Tema after her morning programme, in what is seen as a clear case of a threat on her life.

But for the quick intervention of the Chief Executive of the station who chanced to be around and rushed to her rescue, perhaps, a different story would have been told by now.

The Palaver is following up the story, which is under police investigations. An appeal has already gone out for anyone, with information, to help the security services to identify the assailant.
