Educators to attend workshop on electronic learning

Accra, Sept 8, GNA – A total of 300 educators mainly school heads, teachers, administrators, owners of Montessori’s, cr=E8ches and other stakeholders are to attend a workshop in Accra on Saturday, to address performance, productivity and profit in schools.

The workshop is being organised by e-toys and more, dealers in children’s interactive educational resources in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service.

Speaking to the GNA in Accra, Mr George Sackey Jnr. Executive President of e-toys and more, said the participants would discuss “the effective use of educational technology in the classroom”. He said that due to the impact of Information Communication Technology (ICT), the world was quickly shifting from the traditional forms of teaching and learning and replacing them with modern forms of electronic learning.

Mr Sackey said that the workshop, which would create an excellent platform for effectiveness in schools, would also be extended to other regions in the country.
