Educator’s workshop to be held in Accra

A One-day workshop for Educators will open in Accra on Saturday September 10, 2005 to address performance, productivity and profit in schools.
The workshop will bring together 300 Educators comprising School Heads, teachers, school Administrators, owners of Montessori?s, cr?ches and nurseries, as well as other stakeholders.
The workshop is being organized by e-toys & more, the leading name in children?s interactive educational resources, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service.
Mr. George Sackey Jr., The Executive President of e-toys & more, told newsmen that the Participants would discuss ?The Effective use of Educational Technology in the Classroom? during the workshop.
According to Mr. Sackey, due to the huge impact of ICT, the world is quickly shifting from the traditional forms of teaching and learning and replacing them with modern forms such as e-learning.
According to him, these training workshops, which create an excellent platform for effectiveness in schools, will also be extended to other regions of the Country.
