Al-Ansariya Islamic Society raises funds for school

Kumasi, Sept 6, GNA – Sheik Harroun Appau, National Coordinator of the Islamic Mission Secretariat, has expressed concern about the lackadaisical attitude of some Muslim parents towards the upbringing of their children.

Sheik Appau was speaking at a fund-raising rally organised by the Al-Ansariya Islamic Society of Sofoline in Kumasi towards the construction of a school on Sunday.

Speaking on the topic, “The Right Way to Bring Up a Child, The Muslim Way”, he said every Muslim parent would account to God how he or she brought up his or her children. “If you give them good training, you will have the blessings of God, on the other hand if you renege on the upbringing of your children you will attract the wrath of God”, he said.
