The Member of Parliament (MP) for Suhum, Mr Solomon Akwetey has advised activists of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who are involved in illegal chainsaw operations and felling of trees to stop and learn new trade.

He warned that, the party would not interfere when any party functionary is arrested for illegal felling of trees and the law would be allowed to take its course.

Mr Akweteh was addressing party functionaries in the Suhum/Kraboa/Coaltar district at a day’s seminar organised for them by the Eastern Regional Secretariat of the NDC at Suhum at the weekend.
