Pentecost Women’s movement assist Oda Hospital

Akim Oda, July 13, GNA – The Women’s Movement of the Akim Oda South District of the Church of Pentecost on Wednesday presented some items valued at about 10 million cedis to the Akim Oda Government Hospital. The items included loaves of bread, fruits, 10 creates of soft drinks, nine bags of rice, two bags of sugar, three gallons of cooking oil, a quantity of key soaps among others.

Presenting the items Mrs Grace Eghan, the District Leader of the Women’s Movement, said the donation was aimed at supplementing the efforts of the hospital in feeding the patients. She said the presentation would not be “a nine day wonder ” and that the movement was determined to offer similar assistance to the hospital on monthly basis since “service to mankind is service to God”.

Mrs Comfort Owusu Ansah, the Hospital Matron who received the items, thanked the women for the donation.
