Asantehene sends message of condolence to bomb attack victims in Britain

Kumasi, July 9, GNA – Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, has sent a message of condolence to the government and people of Britain, particularly, families of those who fell victim to the synchronised bomb attacks in the centre of London on Thursday.

The message addressed through the British High Commissioner in Accra, read, ” We received with shock the news of the bomb blasts that claimed dozens of lives and wounded about 700 others with widespread physical damage.

We condemn unreservedly those dastardly acts the group, calling itself Al Qaeda in Europe, is reported to have claimed responsibility for carrying out”.

It added, “May the Good Lord help all of us in these days of growing and rampant terrorist attacks around the globe”.
