AFKO presents computer to Tema Police

Tema, June 15, GNA – AFKO Fisheries Limited, a subsidiary of the AFKO Group of Companies, has presented one computer and its accessories worth 6.5 million cedis to the Tema Regional Police Command. Flt Lt Miltiades Nii Tackie, the Director Technical/Special Duties of AFKO Group of Companies who made the presentation, said it was in fulfilment of a promise the company made to the Police to replace a broken down computer.

He commended the police for their efforts in promoting security in the municipality.

Mr Daniel Laryea Odai, an Assistant Commissioner of Police received the items and thanked the company for the gesture. Mr Odai, the Regional Commander, commended AFKO as well the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) for their contribution to the police in Tema and appealed to other industrial establishments as well as individuals in the municipality to follow their example.
