Bawku Technical Institute cries for SOS

Bawku (UE/R), June 8, GNA – The Principal of Bawku Technical Institute in the Upper East Region, on Tuesday appealed for assistance to improve on the school’s infrastructure. Alhaji Alhassan Umar, told the Ghana News Agency in an interview in Bawku that the boys’ dormitory, was in a deplorable state and needed urgent attention. He said the classroom blocks and teachers’ bungalows must also be renovated while the girls’ dormitory is congested.

Alhaji Umar said the Institute had no library facility while its workshops are in a state of disrepair. He said efforts to get assistance had been fruitless and renewed his appeal to the Municipal Assembly, the Ghana Education Trust Fund and other stakeholders to enhance academic work.
