West Akyem Mutual Health signs agreement with health providers

Asamankese (E/R), June 3, GNA- The West Akyem Mutual Health Insurance Scheme, is to collaborate with some health service providers to facilitate the start of operations on June 16, this year. The providers include St. Dominic Hospital at Akwatia, Asamankese Government Hospital, Nsawam Government Hospital and other health facilities in the district.

The District Chief Executive, Mr Umar Amoah, called on the service providers to be firm and honest in the discharge of their duties. The District Coordinating Director, Mr Michael Kwasi Offei appealed to the service providers not to limit their activities to only technical issues, but must endeavour to ensure the moral success of the scheme. The Board Chairman of the Scheme, Mr Samuel Osei-Owusu, appealed to medical staff to treat patients with warmth to increase their self-esteem to patronise their services.
