Moderator cuts sod for branch’s construction

Ho, May 29, – Rt. Rev. Livingstone Komla Buama, Moderator, E.P. Church, Ghana on Sunday cut the sod for the commencement of work on a 240-million cedis school block for the Ho SSNIT flats branch of the Church at a ceremony here.

The construction of the project is being financed by the Creative Ministries of the Presbyterian Church, a non-governmental organization based in the United States of America.

The Ho SSNIT Flats branch of the Church is contributing a hundred million cedis in addition to the support provided by artisans of the church.

Rt. Rev Buama, called on the congregation to contribute towards the early completion of the project by the end of September this year. Delivering the sermon earlier at the Flats church, the Moderator called on Christians to live according to the word of God.

“The will of God is embodied in the teaching of the bible and we should abide with it to guide us in our day to day activities” Rt. Rev Buama cautioned those who always carried the Bible and refused to abide by the word, adding that, it is like someone who built his house on sand and had the rains to wash it away. He charged the congregation to build their “houses on rocks to enable them to withstand the rain.”

Rt. Rev Buama, called on the church to follow the teachings of the Bible in all their endeavours for their spiritual and social development.

The Rev. S. K. Asamoah of the SSNIT Flat E.P. Church thanked the SNNIT for releasing four plots of land for the project. The first phase of the project includes a two-block kindergarten classroom block, a day nursery, cr=E8che, store, a main hall and kitchen.
