Bosomtwe Assembly takes delivery of sanitation equipment

Kuntanase (Ash), May 28, GNA- The Bosomtwe-Atwima-Kwanwoma District Assembly, has taken delivery of sanitary equipment worth 488 million cedis from the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development. The equipment, which comprises a tractor and three refuse containers are part of a consignment to help boost sanitation in the district.

The acting District Chief Executive, Mr Bright Addai-Mununkum who received the items said three more containers were expected soon. He said the containers would be strategically located at peri-urban areas in the district.

Mr Addai-Mununkum called on stakeholders to liase with the assembly to help find a lasting solution to the problems associated with waste disposal in the district. 28 May 05
