Yaw Barimah asks members of VAG to help fight crime

Koforidua, May 24, GNA – The Eastern Regional Minister, Mr Yaw Barimah, has urged members of the Veterans Association of Ghana (VAG) to use their experience to help fight crime and create a secured environment for the citizenry.

Opening a four-day biennial delegates’ conference of the VAG at Koforidua on Monday, he called on individuals and companies to tap the rich human resource reservoir of VAG members for accelerated socio-economic development.

He suggested to the Ghana Armed Forces High Command to collaborate with the VAG to produce a list of active ex-servicemen for easy access to those who might need their services.

Mr Barimah assured the members of VAG that his office would help those who were prepared to team up to undertake any viable small-scale ventures.
