Anyinam (E/R), April 27, GNA – The Eastern Regional Minister, Mr Yaw Barimah, has presented five packets of roofing sheets to the Anyinam Islamic Junior Secondary School (JSS) to rehabilitate its classroom block destroyed by rainstorm.
The school had its roof ripped off recently by a rainstorm that hit the communities.
Presenting the item on Tuesday, Mr Barimah asked the school authorities to consult NADMO for tree seedlings to be planted around the school to act as wind breaks.
The Circuit Supervisor of schools in the Atiwa District, Mr Emmanuel Antwi, received the items on behalf of the Assembly. He appealed for the construction of three more classrooms to accommodate the primary school pupils who are currently using three classrooms on shift basis.
