Court orders Director to pay SSNIT contributions

Takoradi, April 26,GNA- A Takoradi Circuit Court, has granted 40 million cedis bail to Francis Telfer, an Administrative Director of Top Ridge School in Takoradi, for failing to pay contributions of workers to the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT). He owes 48.5 million cedis being social security deductions of the workers.

His plea was not taken and would re-appear on May 25. The court presided over by Mr G. Essien-Donkor urged the accused to resettle the bills without delay.
