Two suspected gangsters granted 160 million cedis bail

Kumasi April 18 GNA- A Circuit Court in Kumasi has granted 160 million cedis bail with two sureties to two gangsters, who allegedly besieged Kumasi vandalising vehicles and terrorising residents in early March, this year.

Samuel Attah, unemployed and Aziz Moro, a technician will re-appear on Friday, April 29.

The court presided over by Mr Adutwum Mmorosa, discharged four other suspects, Ameen Mohammed, a security man, Alhassan Yusif, student, Kwabeng Kyeremateng, mechanic and Sadat Musah Grant, unemployed for want of prosecution.

The court noted that police investigations could not link them to the alleged crime.

Besides, during an identification parade organised by the police, members of the public could not identify any of them as haven taken part in siege.

The court has directed the police to quicken their investigations and submit dockets on the accused to the Attorney General’s Office for advice.
