Two mini buses crash at Tepa

Tepa (Ash), April 9, GNA – Twenty-nine passengers sustain various degrees of injuries when two Urvan mini buses travelling from opposite directions on the Tepa-Betinko road had a head-on collision on Thursday.

All the passengers, except Mallam Ibrahim Zito, 65, who sustained serious injuries was referred to the Saint John of God Hospital at Duayaw-Nkwanta, were treated and discharged at the Tepa District Hospital.

According to some of the passengers, the two drivers of the vehicles were negotiating a sharp curve on the road when they drove into each other.

When contacted, the police at Tepa confirmed the accident but said they were investigating.
