Asuansi Technical Institute appeals for vehicle

Asuansi (C/R), April 7, GNA – The Principal of the Asuansi Technical Institute in the central region, Mr Wilfred Davidson, on Tuesday appealed to the Ministry of Education and Sports to provide it with a bus, through the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund). He said the Institute’s only bus, which it acquired more than 20 years ago, was breaking down too frequent.

Mr Davidson made the appeal while closing a two-day inter-house athletics competition at the Institute.

He said in view of the situation, students of the institute were unable to undertake field trips to industrial firms as part of their studies. During the competition, Lanquaye House came first with 66 points, Crantson House was second with 64 points while Horseley House placed third with 48 points. 07 April 05
