UOG appoints acting Pro Vice-Chancellor

Accra, April 7, GNA – The Provost of the College of Health Science, Korle-Bu, Professor C.N.B. Tagoe has been appointed as the Acting Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Legon.

This followed the decision of the substantive Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Edward Ofori-Sarpong to step aside for the Disciplinary Committee of the University to complete work on the Nfodwo Committee’s Report.

A letter issued from the Office of the Vice-Chancellor dated April 1, 2005 stated that Professor C.N.B. Tagoe will be required to combine his present duties as Provost of the College of Health Sciences with the duties of the Pro Vice-Chancellor.

The Nfodwo Committee Report implicated Professor Ofori-Sarpong in the recent examination leakage at the University.
