Awutu Bawjiase Youth Club to intensify campaign on AIDS

Awutu-Bawjiase (C/R), March 31, GNA- The Awutu Bawjiase Youth Club, has launched a long-term programme to sensitise the people on HIV/AIDS and to organise weekly cleaning up exercises to keep the town clean and free from communicable diseases.

Mr Isaac Yaw Otabil, President of the Club who made this known to the Ghana News Agency in an interview at Bawjiase said the youth had resolved to safeguard their future by striving to raise awareness on the pandemic.

Mr Isaac Acquah, Vice-President and Mr Edward Arhin, and Secretary of the Club expressed their commitment to efforts to establish strong bonds with health officials in the community to facilitate the fight against HIV/AIDS.
