Ghanaians should not allow politics to divide them

Juaso (Ash), March 26, GNA – Reverend Father Owusu Mensah, parish priest of the Saint Andrew’s Catholic Church at Juaso, has called on Ghanaians not to allow politics to divide them because such disunity stalls a country’s development.

Rev Owusu Mensah, who was preaching a sermon on Good Friday service, noted that before politics, we had Christianity, which united the people.

He advised Christians not to be individualistic, adding, ” we should be ready to render service for the development of our community and improve the conditions of our people”.

Rev Owusu Mensah lamented the poor work attitude of some Ghanaians and said when people travel outside the country they work so hard that they receive commendations but when they return to their motherland, they show acts of laziness to the disadvantage of development of their country.

He therefore, called on them to change their negative attitude towards work in other to increase their production base so that the country’s economy can grow.
