Rainstorm renders 13 homeless

Thirteen houses at Ntotroso in the Asutifi district of the Brong-Ahafo Region had their roofs ripped off during a rainstorm at the week-end. Mr Eric Pagpan, assembly member for the town who disclosed this to newsmen after an inspection of the affected houses, estimated the cost of damage at three million cedis. He appealed to the National Disaster Management Organisation, and non-governmental organisations to come to the aid of the victims. The affected individuals are presently putting up with relatives, friends and sympathisers
