US Charity Organisation Donates To School

Accra, March 22, GNA – A non-denominational Evangelical Christian Organization in the US on Tuesday donated assorted items to the Air Force Basic School in Accra.
The Hearts of the Father Outreach, the nongovernmental organisation (NGO), donated the items collected from school children in the US on behalf of the Samaritan’s Purse.
The items included storybooks, Christian literature, exercise books and writing materials.
Colonel Kenneth Darko (rtd), International Fields Representative of the NGO, said the donation was part of a programme to distribute gifts to 90,000 children in Ghana to demonstrate the love of God. He advised the pupils to lead virtuous lives and avoid peer pressure that could lead them astray.
Mrs Eunice Ablorh-Quarcoo, Headmistress of the School, thanked the organisation for the donation.
Samaritan Purse has helped to meet the needs of victims of poverty, natural disasters, disease and famine through Christian charity.
