Educationist inaugurates PTA for Catholic schools

Breme (B/A) March 21, GNA – A nine-member executive for the Parent Teacher Association of the Catholic cluster of schools at Breme in Brong Ahafo was sworn into office at the weekend.

Ms Veronica Essuman Nelson, Tano District Director of Education, said since they were accountable to the community they must work hard in helping to find solutions to the numerous problems that faced teachers and pupils.

”Build a formidable bridge between the teachers and parents so they could collectively settle disputes that hamper the development of education in the community.”

Mr. Samuel Antwi, Chairman of the PTA, said the executive would strive to eliminate unhealthy practices like attending video shows, wake keeping and streetism among the students and pupils.
