I will not seek reappointment, declares Dormaa DCE

Dormaa Ahenkro (B/A), March 15, GNA – Nana Emmanuel Duku, acting Dormaa District Chief Executive says he will not seek re-appointment to the position and expressed his gratitude to the people for cooperating with him during his tenure.

He was speaking at a rally organised by the people of ‘Aboabo Number Four’ to raise funds in aid of the local Salvation Army Secondary School.

Nana Duku expressed the hope that the people would extend the cooperation he enjoyed from them to his successor for the accelerated development of the area.

He presented 100 bags of cement on behalf of the District Assembly to the Aboabo community towards the construction of the school. Mr. Charles Damoah, headmaster of the school, urged parents and guardians to attach great importance to the education of their children and wards.

He observed that the current level of youth delinquency could be minimized if the younger generation were well equipped to face the challenges of contemporary society.

Mr. Damoah commended the Salvation Army Church for establishing the school and the community for accepting the challenge to tackle the second phase of the school’s development.
