Assembly pays 800 million cedis in support of school projects

Nyinahin (Ash), March 09, GNA – The Atwima-Mponua District Assembly has paid a total of 800 million cedis as its contribution towards the construction of three school blocks that the Social Investment Fund (SIF) is supporting.

These are located at Adumasa, Akomfo and Kyereyaaso.

Mr Antwi Boasiako Brobbey, the District Co-ordinating Director, told the GNA in an interview that said each of the blocks comprises six classrooms, office and a store.

In addition, a number of communities have also been provided with cement for the rehabilitation of old school structures. Mr Brobbey said apart from the schools, the assembly had spent 350 million cedis to build a clinic each at Ntobroso and Sreso-Timpom.
