Women’s clubs in Eastern Region asked to meet

Koforidua, March 7, GNA – Women Football Clubs in the Eastern Region have been invited to attend a meeting to discuss preparations towards this year’s Women’s league and knock-out competitions.

The Eastern Regional Interim Management Committee of the Women’s Football clubs has therefore invited the 11 registered clubs for the meeting at the secretariat of the Regional Sports Council, Koforidua on Thursday, March 10.

Mr Charles Aryeh, the Regional Sports Development Officer in a release copied to the GNA Sports said other interested Women’s Football Clubs in the Region who are yet to register with the IMC are also invited to attend the meeting.

The invited Clubs are, Deelom Ladies from Akwatia, Ghatel and Just Do It Ladies of Koforidua, Ayoola Ladies from Akropong, Matisco Ladies from Suhum and Kwaebibirem Queens from Asuom.

The rest are Ideal Ladies from Akim Oda, Healthy Queens of Asamankese, Volta Warriors Queens from Akosombo, Miracle Ladies of Pramkese and Francisco Ladies from Agormenya.
