Sunyani, March 1, GNA – Alhaji Umar Abdul Kadir, Brong Ahafo Regional Chief Imam and Alhaji Issifu Mohammed, Chairman of Muslim Chiefs in Sunyani on Tuesday jointly congratulated three Brong Ahafo Regional politicians for their appointment to help govern the nation. They are Hon. Akubour Debra once the Northern Regional Minister and now Minister of Agriculture, Nana Kwadwo Seinti, who had retained the position as Brong Ahafo Regional Minister and Mr. Ignatius Baffour Awuah, former Sunyani Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) now elevated to Deputy Brong Ahafo Regional Minister. These were contained in a letter signed by Baba Awudu Gausu, Regional Imam’s Secretary and distributed to all media houses in the Sunyani Municipality.
The letter stated that, “we the Imam and Chiefs of the Muslim community in the region are praying for your success in the administration of positive change chapter two of His Excellency J.A. Kufuor from 2005 – 2008. It added, “We wish you good luck in your office and pray that you get the wisdom of King Solomon to rule this humble region and our dear Country Ghana”.
