Tema, Feb. 23, GNA – A 24-year old Teacher, has been remanded into prison custody by the Tema Circuit Court ‘B’, for inserting his fingers into the private part of a five-year old pupil and took pictures of her sexual organ.
The accused Achi Sakah who pleaded not guilty to indecent assault would reappear on May 9.
Prosecuting Deputy Superintendent of Police, (DSP) Aganiba told the court presided over by Mr Stephen K. Teye that the accused lured the girl who was playing with her friends on December 21, last year, to his house where he removed his panties and abused her.
He later spread the thighs of the girl and took a photograph of her vagina with his mobile camera phone.
The victim reported the case to her mother who lodged a complaint at the Women and Juvenile Unit of the Police Service in Tema. A medical report confirmed that the victim has been indecently assaulted leading to the arrest of Sakah.
